Tartan Pleated Midi Skirt

An all-round knife-pleated skirt on a straight waistband with a button fastening. The pleats are pressed to the tartan so the pattern lines up as you walk. Pair it with a fine knit and ankle boots, or a silk blouse for evenings.

Choose from all 78 tartans in our Tartan Finder. The preview is drawn from each tartan’s recorded thread count; woven cloth can vary slightly in colour between mills.

Fit

Choose US sizes 0–24, or select made to measure and send us your measurements. We check every made-to-measure order before we cut.

Care

Dry clean, or hand wash cool and dry flat. Press with a cloth.

Tartan Skirt is operated by Kilt NYC LLC. Almost everything we sell is made to order in your size or your measurements, so the delivery time includes the time it takes us to make your piece and the time it takes to ship it.

Delivery

We ship worldwide from the United States. Every order is dispatched from the US to customers in every country.

Orders are processed Monday to Friday. If part of your order is out of stock, we’ll contact you within 24 hours with an updated delivery date, and you can cancel for a full refund if it no longer suits you.

Carriers and tracking

We ship with FedEx International Priority or DHL Express. Every order is tracked, and we email your tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Customs, duties and taxes

Orders within the United States have no customs charges. For orders to the United Kingdom and Europe, we cover customs duties and import VAT, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery. For other countries, local import duties or taxes may apply and are set by your country’s customs office. Sales tax, where it applies, is shown at checkout.

Returns and exchanges

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn’t right, email support@kiltnyc.com and we’ll sort out a replacement, exchange or refund.

Returning an item

• Let us know within 30 days of delivery to start a return or exchange.
• Items must be unused, unworn and in their original condition, with all original packaging, labels and accessories.
• Returns are free: for every approved return we provide a prepaid return label.
• Once your return arrives and is checked, we process your refund or exchange, usually within 2 business days, to your original payment method. Original shipping charges are not refunded.

Made-to-measure and personalised pieces

Pieces made to your own measurements, or customised at your request, are cut just for you, so they can’t be returned for a change of mind or because measurements were entered incorrectly. If we made a mistake, or the item is faulty, we will always put it right. Not sure about a measurement? Message us before you order and we’ll check it with you.

Damaged or faulty items

If your order arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the item and the packaging. For a manufacturing fault, contact us as soon as you notice it. Once confirmed, we’ll replace, repair or refund it at no cost to you.
