Made to Measure

Every piece can be cut to your measurements for a fee of $40, added when you choose Made to measure in the size menu.

What you’ll need

• A soft tape measure, in inches.
• Light clothing, or the underwear you’ll wear with the piece.
• Someone to help with the length, if possible.

Skirts

1. Waist: where you want the waistband to sit. Kilted skirts traditionally sit a little above the navel.
2. Hip: around the fullest part of your seat, feet together.
3. Length: from the waist point straight down to where you want the hem, in the shoes you’ll wear.

Dresses

1. Bust: around the fullest part, keeping the tape level.
2. Natural waist: the narrowest part of your torso.
3. Hip: around the fullest part of your seat.
4. Shoulder width: across the back, from shoulder point to shoulder point.
5. Length: from the top of the shoulder, over the bust, down to the hem.

Made-to-measure pieces are cut just for you, so they can’t be returned unless faulty. If we spot a measurement that looks unusual, we’ll email you before cutting.
